so. i've been having a very negative experience with my mailbox these past few weeks. for whatever reason, my
us weekly issues have suddenly not been making it to me. that's right,
us weekly. it's my thing, let's move on...
right. so there's me, cranky pants pulled way up tight, peering into the itty bitty mailbox, wondering if today's the day that the honorable folks over at wenner media have gotten their shit together and finally sent me my brainless dribble. nope, they haven't.

but! what's this? oooh, a
catalog. from
anthropologie. i'll bet there's lots of eye candy up in there. so i flip through, page by page, and i'm getting pretty disappointed. the clothes just aren't doing a thing for me. that is until i look closer, and see
the jaw dropping, amazing shoes on each spread. granted, i've been on a pretty serious shoe kick recently. but this is not helping. not one bit. these three specimens are the best of the best in my book...
while we're talking shoes, i'm also majorly fixated with
these (in yellow) and
these... the latter are from forever 21! sure,
european forever 21, which is undoubtedly a billion times chicer than the techno blasting disaster areas that i find myself in stateside, but still.

i have been able to do a teensy bit of actual shoe purchasing (in addition to all this coveting), all in the name of the
fixed gear bike. flip flops may have worked on dutchie, but not on 80's purple. no way, no how. so i got to buy shoes! specifically
these three shoes. i'm loving the oxfords.

well, i suppose that's enough shoe rambling for tonight. if i keep going i'll wind up pressing "confirm order" on some very pretty and un-cheap shoes before bedtime without a doubt. which we can't have happening. sure would be nice if i had a certain picture filled gossip magazine to distract....
