allow me to introduce:

80's purple. remember this frame? well this is the bike that it's been turned in to. and ok, so maybe i ripped the name off of this shop, but c'mon, can you blame me? when it's right, it's right.

right?

i love this bike. i love it for being a reasonable weight (sorry, dutchie). i love it for the girly color. i love it because i hand selected (while asking lots and lots of questions to our resident bike guru, jared) each and every part you see here, from the toe clips all the way up to the bar tape. and then i at least tried to make myself useful while jared and the Boy built it up. luckily for them it turns out that i make an excellent "holder-in-placer."

so yeah, that's my newest bike. one of these days i'll show you all a picture of what our apartment has turned into: bike storage. we're up to five bikes in five hundred square feet. it's truly a ridiculous sight. what i would do for a garage these days...
