is it cold, or is it just me?

it may be that the past year of california living has damaged my ability to tolerate "chilly" temperatures, but it feels like the weather here in sf has been much colder than this time last year, which has me staring into my closet trying to conjure up a coat that isn't chicago-in-january heavy, but also not a san-francisco-in-july lightweight either. hence my recent fixation on army parkas. since h&m's $40 version failed to come through for me, i've moved on to eyeing this (slightly less budget friendly but no less fabulous) number.
